A fabulously equipped and meticulously appointed and maintained cottage. Very welcoming owners. Beautiful walled garden on site. Lovely local walks and trails and a great pub on the doorstep! Just perfect.
This is our second visit. It’s such a lovely comfortable cottage done to a high standard. We are made to feel very welcome and our dog loves it there. With lots of lovely walks nearby and a dog friendly pub just down the road
An absolutely beautiful cottage to stay in and enjoy our holiday. It was a pleasure to meet the owners Gill and Trevor - such a very nice couple and easy to talk to. The welcome pack was lovely and very much appreciated. The décor and layout of this spacious holiday let is the best that we have ever encountered. The setting of the property with the quiet and peaceful surroundings made it special. The Victorian garden was amazing and with the time scale that it has had with work being done on it and to get it to look like it does now just makes me speechless...….well done Gill and Trevor you have worked so very hard on making the Victorian Garden such a peaceful haven !! The enclosed garden was perfect for our two dogs - they just loved it.
Enjoyed our holiday there so much - we will be back.
Without any doubt this is the best designed and provisioned holiday cottage we have every stayed in. The only down side was the fact that the nearest shop was a distance away and the pub whilst reasonable wasn't providing the sort of eating experience I had imagined from various reviews. The layout in the cottage and the level of facilities was excellent. Everything you might want was there without there being an overload of anything.
Absolutely just what we wanted for a week of rest and relaxation. The property is excellent and well equipped with just about everything you need. Really comfy bed and pillows for a good nights sleep. Gill has clearly thought about comfort for her guests and their dogs. We certainly hope to return.
The owner was friendly and helpful. A welcome pack included treats for the dogs .
The accommodation was clean and well furnished with an extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom was large with an efficient walk in shower as well as a bath.
The area in front of the cottage was completely secure for the dogs and provided a sitting area in fine weather. The views were beautiful even in December. We didn’t go into the walled garden but feel sure it will be lovely in summer.
Lovely cottage, very clean and tidy with a great view of the countryside. The property has a field which is great for dogs. There are lots of walks in the local area. There is also WiFi in the cottage which is handy for finding places to eat and things to do.

Excellent modern cottage in a very quiet spot. Friendly and helpful owner.
A relaxing stay in Garden Cottage. The property has beautiful views from the front, private parking and a nice little garden to sit out in. There are lots of local walks which was fabulous for us with our two dogs and the pub along the road serves lovely food and is dog friendly. The walled garden is beautiful and lovely to sit out in the sun, relax and admire the plants. Gill the owner is attentive but not intrusive and we would love to come and stay again.
A lovely well presented property. Ideal for our 2 dogs. Highly recommend.
