We had an excellent and very comfortable stay at Garden Cottage where we found absolutely everything we needed - even a hot water bottle for my husband's toothache! The cottage is light and bright and well arranged and furnished to make everything easy. The cottage is well situated on the edge of Dunkeld with lovely views over the surrounding countryside. We were able to visit a large range of interesting places - towns, walks, castles, J M Barrie's birthplace, nature reserves etc. within a 20-25 mile radius which also made things easy. Our hosts Michael and Brigitte were helpful and welcomed us on our arrival .

Brigit and Michael were lovely hosts, the cottage was perfect and only 10 minutes walk from Dunkeld. Would definitely recommend.

We had the absolute best time staying at Brigit and Michael’s garden cottage. We stayed there for one week as we chose to elope in the Dunkeld area. The cottage is the perfect size for a couple, where the kitchen and lounge room are open plan and seperate bedroom, hallway and bathroom make it feel really spacious. Brigit and Michael maintain an impeccable and diverse garden, some of which is private to the cottage. Dunkeld village is a 2 min drive/10-15 walk (with one walk being through the woods as a scenic route!). We visited places like the archery/air rifles at Dunkeld house, wildlife conservation area, nearby town Aberfeldy which has a cute bookshop and cafe in the old water mill (Birnam also has a great little bookshop). There are also many walks around Dunkeld - we loved the ones near the Cathedral. The cottage has views out to the stunning Cathedral and into town. Brigit and Michael are lovely people and willing to help you with anything you need to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Thanks for having us!

The cottage was lovely with it's own small private garden and all the equipment you might need.

Lovely cottage, lovely location, very comfortable bed and friendly, unobtrusive hosts.

Lovely cottage within walking distance of Dunkeld village centre, very friendly welcome from the helpful owners who live on site. Excellent views of countryside and a nice separate garden if you are lucky with the weather. All amenities in the cottage, but some could do with updating eg blunt knives! Easy driving access to local road network, to Pitlochry, Perth and Blairgowrie and onward travel.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting with lots of pleasant natural light and wonderful views. We enjoyed our time there. The only issues we had were that we did not enjoy the best weather and that everything in the local area seemed very highly priced. This is not the place to come if you are looking for bargains, but when we visit Scotland we come for the scenery and there was plenty of that!

We had a brilliant stay at Garden Cottage. Our hosts were excellent and the cottage contained everything we needed.
