Welcome pack. Sitting-out area with garden furniture. Shared garden. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. No children under 8 years old. Please note There is a 3ft drop and 3 steps in the unfenced garden.\n Set in a quiet residential area with sea views Garden View is a comfortable apartment attached to the owner’s home which has been decorated and furnished to a very good standard. There are 15 steps down to the entrance and the garden is shared with the owner but has its own private patio with garden and chairs ideal for al fresco dining. \nClose to many amenities it is 2 miles to Brixham Harbour about a 30-minute walk down hill. South Devon’s two cities are Exeter and Plymouth and are both within easy driving distance 30 miles and offer their own tourist attractions historical buildings and shops. Dartmoor is breathtakingly beautiful and at once romantic mysterious wild eerie. You can visit the tourist spots or if you are an experienced walker and navigator you can get away from the tourists and explore the depths of Dartmoor. You will see wild Dartmoor Ponies cross ancient stone bridges spanning the clear bubbling waters of the River Dart and other rivers and feel the somewhat eerie presence of the ‘Tors’ and it has seven rocky hills which preside majestically over the moors. Dartmouth is the neighbouring town to Brixham which is situated on and across the mouth of the River Dart. Take the ferry across to Dartmouth and whilst waiting at the jetty look across to Dartmouth at the Britannia Royal Naval College which is located on a hill above the river where it glints in the sunshine and a splendid backdrop for the river estuary with its many sailing boats naval boats and pleasure cruisers. Look to the mouth of the river and you will see two castles those of Kingswear and Dartmouth true fairy-like castles guarding the mouth with the rocky waters of the estuary lapping at their feet. Don’t forget to visit Agatha Christie’s home ‘Greenway’ which was for many years her summer residence now opens to the public. There are also many National Trust properties all waiting to be explored. Shop pub and restaurant 1 mile. \n " https://img.chooseacottage.co.uk/Property/127/840/1270776.jpg UKC416

Accommodation and comfort very good. So disappointed with location as thought it was in Brixham but was in kingswear. Badly misinterpreted as to location.

It is a lovely flat and the owners very friendly and helpful. However where it states it is a 20 minute stroll to the harbour, this is completely unrealistic. Double the time at least and mention there is no footpath for a good distance. There is nowhere to have a nice walk to apart from around the estate, although there is a field for dog walking which is handy.

We loved it the flat was perfect and we are hoping to go back later in the year! Would highly recommend the owner was lovely couldn't have asked for anything more.

the garden was not inclosed for a dog so could not use. above bedroom is a room where Steve gets ready for work so you can hear him walking up and down and running a tap the floor our sealing at 7am which used to wake us up.

We had a wonderful week at Garden View helped by warm, sunny weather. The cottage was very comfortable and the dogs settled well. There were many walks in the local area and the owners we're friendly and helpful.

The people was very nice looked after us with a cake and milk tea and coffee when we got there the place was really nice and we would go back again you are left alone which is nice to get on with your break the milk cake and the rest was given to us in the flat really nice

A car is necessary as it is not close to local amenities. There is a flight of steps down to the property. However neither of these things were a problem and I think it is excellent value for money
