No smoking.\nThis delightful holiday home the middle one of three cottages is located in Watermillock on the northern shores of Ullswater between the lakeside villages of Pooley Bridge and Glenridding. Bordered by the lake on one side and the majestic fells on the other the location is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast. Within a short drive there are walks at all levels cycling horse riding fishing sailing canoeing ghyll scrambling and golf. The towns of Keswick and Penrith are a 20-minute drive and the lake road takes you over the Kirkstone Pass down into Ambleside and Windermere.     A lovely cottage, ideal for up to a family of 4. The kids loved playing in the garden, the views were great, it was nice and clean and had everything we needed. I had no idea how much the extra electricity would be - but a tenner covered it, which was fine. We would go again.

    Lovely cottage in a great location to explore the north west lakes, very peaceful and a great size for a family of 4. No Wi-Fi or phone signal forces a much need break from technology, nothing better than board games and a good book in front of roaring fire after a day on the fells. Keswick and Penrith (& the M6) both within easy reach.
