    Living room: With wood burner, Sky TV (basic package) and bi-folding doors leading to patio.
    Kitchen/dining room: With electric oven, gas hob, range, microwave, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and tiled floor.
    Utility room: With washing machine.
    Bedroom 1: With double bed and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.
    Bedroom 2: With double bed.
    Bedroom 3: With twin beds.
    Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.
    Shower room: With shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.

    Oil central heating (underfloor in shower room), gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included, remainder at cost. Travel cot available on request. Welcome pack.

    Lawned garden with decking to front; patio to rear. 37 acre of woodland and pasture (shared with owner). Stabling for horses (shared with owner). Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a spring.

    Set in an elevated position in 37 acres of natural grounds and woodland of the owners’ livery stables, this gorgeous little detached cottage, offers a very relaxing base in a beautiful area of Aberdeenshire. Lovingly maintained by the owners who live close by, it is bright and comfortable with a lovely wood burner in the living room, and is ideally located for discovering the myriad delights of the region. The bi-folding doors lead onto a sheltered sunny patio where guests can soak up the sun or enjoy an al fresco meal or drink in a lovely peaceful environment. The track leading to the cottage offers stunning views across open farmland and stabling is available for those who wish to bring their horse and enjoy hacking in the wonderful countryside.
    There is excellent cycling and walking on the nearby Balloch Forest trails, fishing and of course the renowned Whisky Trail (with many distilleries within a 20 minute drive), make this an ideal cottage for a varied holiday. The sandy beaches of the Moray Coast are under an hour’s drive away. Within easy reach are turreted castles and lovely gardens to explore, as well as testing golf courses and a scenic coastal trail to follow. Huntly and Keith are approximately 7 miles away, with good shops, restaurants and pubs. Beach 20 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 7 miles.

    Fantastic cottage, it is really roomy (the photos do not do it justice), we stayed with our two teenage boys and were never tripping over each other. The location is great for exploring Banff shire and Aberdeenshire and close enough to Loch Ness to go there and back in a day. The cottage location is lovely and peaceful, no noise at all and you might sometimes see a deer or two from the back windows. We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone thinking of staying there.

    This was our third time staying at Glenside Cottage. As usual, exceptionally good accommodation. All age groups in our family enjoyed the stay. We had a wonderful holiday and will be back to stay at the cottage again soon !

    We had a lovely time staying at Glenside Cottage. The cottage was spacious enough for everyone. The equipment and amenities provided in the cottage were of very high standard, though my wife thought it would have made her life easier if there was a tumble dryer. Nevertheless, it was a memorable holiday and we are going back and will be staying at the same place again soon. Would highly recommend this cottage for anyone who is looking for a high quality and luxurious accommodation in rural Scotland.
