A fantastic cottage in a stunning location, the photos do not do it or it's size justice- it's enormous! Tons of cutlery, crockery, glasses and other kitchen equipment. Plenty of seating in the living area and at the dining table and very comfortable beds (a major gripe in many holiday homes!). The sofa on the landing was fantastic to give my teenager some space away from the adults and both kids played chess up there regularly. The house was spotlessly clean except the oven and some oven dishes which I advised the owner of. We would return but unfortunately the house is up for sale- we really hope it remains a holiday let! A stunning get away from it all location with numerous beaches just a short drive away for us to take our dog every day. Would also recommend Loch Shiel cruises for anyone renting the cottage in future.

The house is lovely and very clean. The views from the house are amazing. However the sinfglee beds are not comfortable and also there were condements missing from the kitchen such as a vegetable strainer, which sounds picky but when you are cooking a meal for 8 and only then you realise that there is no equipment to dish out the veg it's frustrating. This is a simple thing that really should be picked up on prior to new guests arriving.

We enjoyed our holiday very much, only issue was ramp leading to patio door was very slippery and our disabled guest had to use the back door which had a step up which was not ideal. Otherwise facilities and space in the property were excellent.

The property is a good base to explore and had plenty of space for us all. Although the house was tidy when we arrived it wasnt necessarily clean (cobwebs and we had to clean out the en suite shower waste). In addition there was a definite smell of a certain herb from one of the bedrooms that took a few days to get rid of. Under floor heating is fine but only when you can make it work - the system was locked and as a result never came on and there were a few chilly nights. There were also no logs for the fire. The property is great but in our opinion is in need of a refurb.

The house was perfect for our family holiday: seven adults in total, with our grown-up children. There was enough space and seating for us to not be on top of each other, and to be able to get some peace when needed. The bedrooms were large, and having zip-lock beds in every room is a brilliant idea, as we were able to swap a twin and king room to allow the couple who brought a dog to sleep downstairs. Some aspects of the property seemed strange: no access via the front door; hanging rails in every bedroom, rather than wardrobes. But overall it was a great space to share.

Fantastic location. Cottage very comfortable. Only negative comment a few running repairs such as resealing shower need.
