Enjoy beautiful views of the large lawned areas and managed gardens with the ocean beyond. Picnic benches are situated throughout the site with a perfect barbecue area at the bottom of the slope towards the promenade, managed by the local council. There is a strict no pet policy throughout the park and within any of the properties. There is also an on-site launderette for guests to use, and Wi-Fi is available from reception, with options for 2-5 devices and prices starting from £3 for 2 hours, £7.50 for 48 hours and £15 for a week.
With ample parking, on-site launderette and a children’s play area, all the properties are ideal for a couple’s escape or family holiday by the sea. Each property is set all on one level so are ideal for young children or those who cannot manage stairs.
Golden Bay is only a short walk along the promenade (situated at the bottom of the site) with restaurants, cafés, shops and amenities that this part of the North Devon coastline has to offer, and you are also within walking distance of the beach.
Westward Ho! beach has attained the standards necessary for the ‘Keep Britain Tidy’ distinction award, and it also features in the 2017 Good Beach Guide, and the Marine conservation society has given the beach an ‘excellent’ rating for water quality.
