These pretty gîtes, two of 3, are in a converted 17th century abbey, and are situated on a working farm, on the outskirts of a small village, and the discreet owner lives on site. W13244 has retained much of its original character with high ceilings, beams, open brickwork and an inset fireplace, while FNP137 has vaulted brick ceilings and enjoys an insert fireplace for chillier evenings. Both gîtes have their own enclosed private gardens to relax in and guests have shared use of a volleyball net, badminton court and table tennis. Visit the colourful market town of Hesdin, the historic battlefield of Agincourt or visit Arras and climb the belfrey for a magnificent view over the squares of this lovely town. The vast sandy beaches of the Côte d’Opale are under half an hour away or walk the ramparts at Montreuil-sur-Mer, and ride the steam train at Saint-Valery-sur-Somme. There is also river fishing and golf nearby. Shop 5km, restaurant 2km, beach 25km.
