We found Governors Gardens lovely. The welcome pack included hand gel and wipes as well as lots of treats. It was clean and very covid ready. The location is stunning and the owners were wonderful. Would we recommend to have a holiday here ! 100% yes. We would love to come back.

Great accommodation and Berwick is a perfect base to explore local area, we visited Edinburgh and East coast of Scotland, but also convenient for visiting Northumberland sights.

This is a beautifully equipped, cosy and convenient cottage in well maintained gardens - an ideal base for exploring the city, the walls and the coast. Tucked into the old walls, it is away from traffic and very quiet. Everything that we needed was thoughtfully provided, thanks to our hosts.

We had a magical holiday staying in Governor’s Gardens, the property met all our needs providing a central location from which we could do as much or as little and still thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Nothing was too much trouble with unexpected thoughtfulness and personal touches adding to our holiday. Thank you....
