Guests staying at this chalet have access to a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi and Freeview TV, as well as a patio terrace with garden furniture and gas barbecue. This makes a fantastic base from which to explore the many activities in the area, including walking, bird watching (a nature reserve is close by), fishing, sailing, boat trips and horse riding. Within easy reach are the cathedral city of Chichester, Goodwood and Fontwell races, Arundel with its Wildfowl Trust and castle, the historic naval links at Portsmouth, and seaside entertainment at Bognor, Worthing and Brighton.
Selsey itself is a popular seaside town with several beaches, and the fishing industry has always been at the heart of the town. It is home to one of the few remaining fishing fleets on the south coast, which provide fish and seafood to leading London restaurants. Selsey crab is widely accepted as some of the best in the world, a fact which the local restaurants and pubs are all keen to promote, so make sure you pay them a visit and give it a try. Beach 2 miles. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant on-site.
