This delightful holiday property has been skilfully converted from former outbuildings at Bodafon Hall and it sleeps just two people. There are views down across fields to the promenade and out to sea. This is a lovely quiet part of the town, yet there is so much to do within walking distance. Visit the adjacent Bodafon Farm Park, or take a stroll along the promenade to the town centre or Venue Cymru, where you can perhaps catch a visiting West End show. Shop till you drop or find a great restaurant or café. At the other end of town is the famous Great Orme’s Head, rising to 679ft above the town, with great views of the surrounding coastline – and on a clear day you can even see the Isle of Man! Visit 4000-year-old copper mines, the ski slope or toboggan run, ride the Great Orme Tramway or the longest cable car in Great Britain. Historic Conwy is just a few minutes by car and offers the mighty Edward I Conwy Castle and town walls (A World Heritage Site), Aberconwy House, Conwy Suspension Bridge (NT), Plas Mawr (Cadw), a wealth of quirky individual shops, and the quay where fresh fish is landed daily. The Conwy Valley takes you down towards Betws-y-Coed, the ‘gateway to Snowdonia’. On the way, call in at Bodnant Garden (NT) that is abundant with floral colour, or for a bit of foodie heaven, try the Bodnant Welsh Food Centre.
Granary Cottage can be booked with Stable Cottage (ref CC613037) and Scullery Cottage (CC613038) to accommodate up to six guests.

We arrived at Granary Cottage after an 8 hour journey only to find that there were dog hairs covering the sofa, cushions, bedding, pillows, sheets. It was disgusting, the place still had breadcrumbs on the worktops, the mugs were stained brown inside. We called the owner who lived on site who said “you should have seen the state of the place this morning, it was worse then”, she said that we would have to find somewhere else to stay and that she would arrange a full refund - I was not impressed with this response as it was bank holiday and also half term week.... at no point did she offer to get professional cleaners in to resolve the problem. My partner asked if she knew anywhere else we could stay and she said she had another apartment downstairs, we looked at this one but, although there were no dog hairs, the cooking utensils were filthy, the kettle was rusty inside so we couldn’t have a cup of coffee etc. We stayed one night but spent all evening trying to find somewhere else to stay and managed to get a room in a local hotel. The information book in the room had a certificate in it as an Award of Excellence for 1918-2020 but these are awarded on an annual basis so fail to see how this could be true. The whole place was shabby, dirty and totally unacceptable and nothing like the photos advertising it. My advice would be to avoid at all costs.
