Both the cottages are beautifully appointed and well equipped with individual character original features pine furniture and pretty fabrics all enhance their old-world charm. Grange Farm House is an end of row house with beams aplenty recessed panelled and shuttered windows and old stone work. Delph House forms the left hand side of Grange Farm Cottages and enjoys exposed beams. Enjoy a visit to the home of the Brontës at Haworth 12 miles. Or go back in time and ride on the steam trains of the Yorkshire Dales Railway 3 miles or the Worth Valley Railway 12 miles. Skipton is home to a medieval castle a choice of shops pubs and restaurants and boat trips down the 200-year-old Leeds and Liverpool Canal.     We enjoyed a lovely family week (grandparents, adult children and grandkids) at the end of August to celebrate our parents 40th Wedding Anniversary. Delph house was a great comfortable space for 6 adults and 2 children to share. The recently installed kitchen is clean, bright and well equipped, with plenty of space for storage and food preparation. The beds were comfy and the bedrooms spacious, one minor improvement would be if at least one hairdryer could be provided. The lounge diner was adequate for the 8 of us, but might be a bit 'cosy with 10 adults using it! Parking was excellent, more than enough space for our three cars plus the neighbours. The shared laundry facilities were useful. The location was fine for our needs, though we couldn't really walk into the village with the children which was a shame - fortunately the large garden and swings provided plenty of easy entertainment right on the doorstep. Families with small children should note that there are multiple staircases leading off a small central landing - and it would be very hard to use a stairgate in this space. The only real downside was a lack of 'views' from the window of the cottage itself - but you can't have everything!

    A very nice period property in a lovely rural setting and with good garden space. very convenient to get into Skipton and the Dales. But the house needs some updating. The storage heaters need replacing. The cottage was terribly hot when we arrived - especially the bedrooms - and the heaters couldn't be adjusted. Even after switching them off at the wall, they were still giving out heat 36 hours later! A few more basics in the kitchen would also be appreciated - e.g. there was no salt, and definitely no oil, etc. Water pressure from the showers was weak but they were hot.

    Had a fantastic stay at Delph House. We were a group of 5 adults so we could all have our own bedroom. Kitchen facilities were great as we cooked on 3 nights and the dishwasher was a godsend. Cottage very spacious for us all. Nice quiet location and suited us perfectly.

    Delph house is a beautiful house in a great location near Skipton and closeby to Bolton Abbey. All rooms are adequately sized and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could want for all the family. The only real downside was the showers could be improved in terms of power and the rain hitting the skylights off the trees is very loud. Overall, good value for money, clean and comfortable for all the family.

    Good size house for family events. Garden and parking excellent and only a few minutes from Skipton. Walking routes from the door. Convenient for The Dales, Bolton Abbey, York, Leeds and the Embsay - Bolton Abbey Railway.

    Beautiful place. Just a few miles out of Skipton. Lovely decor and very well equipped. A great place if you are a larger group. We had a lovely stay and I would definitely go back again.

    The property is reasonably well equipped, never stayed in a rental property for 10 people that does not have any baking trays? However, the showers need replacing one doesn't get hot. There is not enough hot water for a house that is rented for up to 10 people. The standard of the cottage is what you expect for a 'cheaper' rental property compared to others in the area. The décor, towels etc are in need of updating and redecorating.
