The owners have fully redecorated and refurnished this property to a good standard giving you lovely surroundings to relax in.
Enjoy the many public footpaths that lead to the spectacular Cotswolds countryside and there are many quiet lanes for cycling. Just over 3 miles away you will find yourself in the small market town of Bampton where there are four pubs, a café, restaurant, convenience store, art gallery, library, post office, butchers and pharmacy. Bampton is in the West Oxfordshire area of the Thames Valley, and was the filming location for the village scenes in the popular television series ‘Downton Abbey’.
The towns and villages of the Cotswolds including Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford and Chipping Norton, are all within easy reach where you can enjoy traditional shops and tea rooms. The River Thames at Radcot is a few miles away and guests can walk for miles stopping at one of the riverside pubs along the way. Also close by are White Horse Hill, Ridgeway, Faringdon and Black Bourton. For shopping enthusiasts, take a trip to Bicester with its large selection of designer shops or the Swindon Designer Outlet. The university city of Oxford, with its historic buildings, is located 22 miles away and has park and ride facilities on the outskirts of the city. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
