Graystones Cottage is a delightful two storey Lakeland stone cottage situated in the heart of the vibrant town of Ambleside. A thoughtful and sympathetic renovation provides a relaxed cottage feel with comfortable, contemporary accommodation and lovely fell top views from all of the bedrooms. Much of the original character of the cottage has been retained with original slate flooring, sash windows, a traditional slate mantel over the cosy wood burner in the lounge and a delightful courtyard garden providing a perfect sunny spot for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine after the day’s adventures.

There is plenty to do in the area from cruising down Lake Windermere on one of the famous Windermere Lake Steamers, to hiking, climbing, mountain biking, kayaking or ghyll scrambling, all within easy reach of your doorstep. No matter how you pass your days, the backdrop will always be the stunning fells of the Lake District National Park.
