With walking and cycling on the doorstep this is an ideal location to explore the wonderful North Norfolk coastline complete with its wide sandy beaches NT nature and bird reserves. There are pretty villages with a variety of shops and many excellent eating and drinking establishments scattered throughout the area. There is an award winning village pub located at the end of the 2-mile lane. The Georgian market town of Holt is 4 miles. The traditional seaside town of Sheringham 6 miles has a sandy beach Splash leisure pool and Norfolk Steam Railway. Seaside resort of Cromer 8 miles for promenade garden pier zoo and town shopping centre. Historical locations and places of interest all within an hour’s drive include Sheringham Gardens Felbrigg and Blickling Hall both NT Walsingham Shrine and Abbey ruins Holkham Hall and beach.     We had a very peaceful holiday at the old coach house. All amenities were provided and gardens and house has been exceptionally maintained. A great place if you are looking for peace and tranquillity. Great family and pet friendly place to stay .

    The owners allowed us to stay at The Coach House at extremely short notice due to unforeseen circumstances and were more than helpful. The Coach House is in a very peaceful, tranquil setting - perfect for a relaxing break. Thank you.

    We booked the property at short notice over the New Year break as we needed space after a very difficult family period. Chosen mainly for the location being relatively close to the coast as we have 2 dogs. The property is deceptively large with plenty of interior room. It served our purposes well and we were very happy over our 3 nights. Lovely and quiet in the evening and even though there was a couple next door with a dog we did not hear them at all. The bed in the main bedroom is super comfy! The downstairs showers is very nice and hot. The owners made themselves known immediately and gave us a few guidelines but nothing was too imposing and they were friendly but let us get on with our stay. Whilst it's self-catering, the tea and coffee supply we felt would have been a little more generous and whilst you are instructed to bring towels, a couple of tea towels would not go amiss. Please please ask the owners to get the door from the hall into the downstairs loo fixed - I almost broke my nose several times as it sticks halfway very had and suddenly on opening! Overall, the property needs a little tlc regarding the decor as it's a bit tired in places (e.g. downstairs loo) but we would definitely book again if we wanted to be in this part of the world.

    Fabulous cottage, perfect for dogs. Very comfortable and very well equipped. Was a real bonus it had 3 bedrooms and the double can be split into a twin. Excellent location for dog walking especially Holt Country Park. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Only thing that can make it better is a enclosed garden bit so I could let dogs out without having to put on lead etc

    Lovely cottage nice n clean Fantastic friendly owners However it’s a place that you definitely need 2 drivers or you don’t get a break being the only driver! It’s too far for anyone to walk to the bus stop

    Lovely location. Nice people. The property could do with a good clean especially the kitchen area and shower. Furnishings, bedding etc, were somewhat tired. But overall good.

    The Coach House was perfect for our holiday as it is pet friendly and for us it was a "doggy" holiday. The kitchen was well-equipped, dining room and lounge had plenty of space and were very comfortable. Bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of storage and we slept very well. Bathroom and shower room both had everything you needed and the shower was good. Outside space and weather were good so we spent most of the time sitting out and playing with the dogs in the caravan field next to the cottages. The owners were on hand but not intrusive. Location was perfect for coastal walks.
