    > Situated in the small hamlet village of Princes Gate near the coastal resort of Amroth, this charming, detached cottage has been attractively presented throughout making a perfect holiday base for families or couples looking to explore the spectacular coastline and rugged mountains of Pembrokeshire. Dating back to the 18th century, the former village saddlery has been sympathetically restored to retain much of its original character and lots of welcoming touches have been added for that homely feel throughout. Green Grove has been carefully put together with matching themes and a traditional wood-burning stove has been added to provide a wonderful ambience for cosy nights in. Sit back and relax in the peaceful conservatory or enjoy the large, enclosed lawned garden with a patio area, perfect for unwinding after a busy day’s adventure! Situated close to the iconic National Park, the area has lots to offer including fantastic walks along the coastline where guests can discover the tranquil harbour towns of Saundersfoot and Tenby, with their cobbled streets, traditional Welsh pubs, irresistible restaurants, gift shops and sandy beaches. Explore the off-shore island of Caldey and share the serenity and tranquillity of the Cistercian monks, or take a sea safari along the dramatic coast, cruising close to sea birds, seals and the occasional dolphin. Away from the coast, the rolling countryside is just as promising with its array of traditional market towns dotted around the country including Narberth and Haverfordwest as well as the numerous enchanted sites including Pembroke and Carew Castles. Visit Oakwood, Folly Farm and Bluestone for action packed days out. Golf and horse riding nearby. Beach 4 miles. Shop, pubs and restaurant 2 miles.

The cottage was quirky and the lounge space lovely. Unfortunately It was not nearly as clean as I would have expected - The conservatory roof filled with dead flies was disgusting and put me off using this space at all. I think the hall needs painted and the whole place cleaned thoroughly. We are dog lovers but would never have our dogs in the bedroom where we found a big clump of fur from a previous resident! Sorry but not for us and could not recommend on this basis.

A REALLY relaxing holiday, thank you! Green Grove is a well-equipped, stylish (loved the owners' personal touches) and comfortable property. Careful thought has been given to the 'flow' of the floorplan and we particularly enjoyed dining in the conservatory which leads directly from the spacious kitchen. The secure garden provides peace of mind for parking, pets and children. We really appreciated the welcome treats; thank you, so thoughtful! Princes Gate is a small hamlet and, whilst there is no local shop, Narberth is a 5 minute drive and provides an excellent variety of shops and restaurants. The beach (Wiseman's Bridge, Amroth) can be accessed by car in 10 minutes. Tenby, Saundersfoot, Lawrenny and Carew are about 30 minutes by car. We would definitely book the property again and wholeheartedly recommend.

So homely and comfortable. Xmas tree and decorations were perfect including little stockings for our dogs, thank you, it was so thoughtful. Owner was very friendly and helpful when we had to phone. We wanted a quiet, relaxing Xmas away from home and returned feeling very rested. We would love to visit again during the warmer months.

We loved our stay at Green Grove, beautiful accommodation, luxurious and stylish. We felt very lucky to be able to take our dog to this lovely house for the week. So much to do for the children all within a 20-minute drive of this gorgeous cottage. The owners are very helpful and friendly and want so much for you to enjoy your stay. We will definitely book for next year, we didn't want to leave! There are three double bedrooms and the large king bed at the front is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, crisp white linen with luxurious pillows. Everything is provided in the property and on arrival there was some doggy treats, and bowls provided for our dog. The house does not smell of dogs, its spotless.

A really beautiful cottage in a peaceful place. Everything you could need was provided. The local shops are about 3 miles away but that was ok for us, we chose the cottage for the peace and quite. Nice easy drives to the coast, whichever one you choose. You do need a car to get out and about. We would certainly recommend Green Grove, we had a lovely stay and the owner Cheryl was lovely too.

A home from home ; outstanding level of equipment and furnishing design in a holiday home. We thought it exceptional in its welcome for us and particularly our dog. No sign of doggy smells so often the case in dog friendly houses and an owner who was both thoughtful and attentive in her dealings with us. We will certainly return; the area provides all one could want for an outdoorsy holiday.
