    Great holiday, lovely cottage

The cottage is welcoming and cosy for two adults. Although it advertised as a two bed, that could sleep floor. The day bed in the second bedroom is uncomfortable and as this is in its own space I’m unsure as to why it can’t be a proper bed. General comfort and equipment was lacking; toilet seat broken (which had been previously highlighted by another guest in the visitor book in October, but not rectified) the dehumidifiers were full and had to be emptied on arrival, no extra loo roll provided (only half a roll in the toilet) no basic kitchen provisions (ie tea towels, kitchen towel) and no welcome pack (coffee, tea and milk) which I know is offered by other cottages in the area.

Had a brilliant time in a cosy cottage

If you are looking for a base to travel around Cornwall, then this is ok. If you are looking for a view, forget it. Photographs can be deceptive, I thought I was booking a house on the front overlooking the harbour, instead we got a cottage behind the row of houses. Lesson learnt.

Not really as expected poor quality kitchen kit (one utensil so damp it was mouldy) and most of it needed washing before we felt comfortable using it. Very damp smelling particularly downstairs and all cupboards Many lightbulbs out and lighting in general poorly planned Stained pillowcase and towels Lumpy pillows and duvet unsuitable to season Good points Comfortable mattress Great wardrobe with well useful mirror (spoilt by cheap hangers) Very attractive outdoor space good aspect Pleasant bathroom with powerful shower (head needs cleaning) Great to find soap, washing liquid, cling film and foil but milk, butter and fresh loaf would be a welcome touch Seems like whoever is supposed to be managing this property has taken their eye off the ball and we felt we had been overcharged for what we received

Lovely cottage, really well appointed. Need to point out open tread stairs on advert. Cupboard stocked with all the essentials which made life easy, good to have a washer / dryer. Just needs a small table on the terrace and surprised not to find a DVD player. Loved every minute and will definitely stay again. Wish we could have afforded a few extra days. X
