The beamed ceilings open fire and tasteful furnishings enhance the atmosphere of tranquillity. Extremely well-equipped including free wi-fi and free telephone the cottage is within walking distance of a country house hotel with leisure facilities. There is a local golf course fishing horse riding and the magnificent waterfall at Hareshaw Lynn.     A very comfortable cottage in an excellent location for exploring Kielder and Hadrian’s Wall, and further afield if you are so inclined. Comfortable bed, excellent shower but the loo seat is a menace! Bellingham has an excellent selection of small shops, pubs and a fabulous Chinese Takeaway.

    Bathroom has been updated with walk-in shower instead of bath shown on pictures. Good village location. Only downside was the toilet seat / lid which wouldn’t stay up due to position of toilet and corner of wall.

    Great tidy little cottage. Location was ideal for various outings in the north of England, especially Kielder Water/Forest. Nice village location with shop just opposite the cottage and a pub just up the street. Only real negative is that the ceiling is a little low in places so any 6ft+ people would need to watch out, but I managed. Otherwise it was great. Would definitely recommend it.

    Its a nice cottage in a right in the heart of Bellingham close to 3 pubs and shops and easily accessible to the pennine way. The Cottage is been a bit thrown together but that didn't and wouldn't put us off from renting in the future. I would say its a 3* property but the location for us is a great selling point, also the wood burning stove is great and we had to light it even though it was mild!!
