We would have welcomed some basic provisions such as milk, bread etc as the only shop was closed when we arrived. We would also have welcomed additional mugs as there was only 1 each for the 6 of us which meant endless washing up. The addition of over bath showers would greatly improve the property as all 6 of us had to share the only one. Location was wonderful and we greatly enjoyed our walks.

Had a great week in this comfortable, spacious well quipped house. We did strike extremely lucky with the weather so used the garden a lot. It is surroundedby lovely walks and incredible views. There are some very good pubs for meals out within walking distance. We will definitely be back.

Great location just outside Hawes village, really close to shops and pubs. A short 5 min walk to the village was easy. Most places were dog friendly. Best place for food was The Crown, excellent. Took 2 dogs, lovely enclosed garden a few metres from the back door to let them off lead. Some amenities in the property were a bit tired eg oven door needed propping shut with a chair, otherwise a lovely spacious comfy property.

Excellent accommodation, good bathrooms but the kitchen could do with some refurbishment. The temperature numbers on the oven control have worn off and the fridge (a newish high quality one) needs to have the rear condensate pipe unblocked so that the door will open without undue force being applied to the handle. The temporary solution at present is to use the handle of a teaspoon to make a gap in the magnetic door seal to let air in to relieve the vacuum.

There was 6 of us staying at the cottage as a birthday surprise for one of us . We have all known each other for many years and we often stay at cottages in various locations and we were all in agreement that this was one of the best cottages we have ever had. This was due the cottages facilities and location and we do intend booking it again. We would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing break.

Had a lovely stay. Cottage could have been cleaner, lots of dust and cobwebs. Generally a bit care warn. Strong smell of oil in the kitchen that became unbearable without the kitchen window open. That said, it was really cosy and the children aged between 11 and 16 enjoyed the layout and the fact they cold walk into Hawes.

Excellent cottage very close to hawes. A few little things probably need adding to the kitchen & perhaps looking at & mending but apart from that an excellent cottage. Will be using again.

Delightful. Excellent help from owners.Thoughtful gift of farm eggs. A couple of the beds had somewhat hard mattresses. Bedding lovely. Cooker oven hard to distinguish settings. Very nice warm and comfortable house. Showers over baths would have been useful but maybe header tank not possible in all areas.
