Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely cottage, in a beautiful area. Hosts friendly and helpful. Surprised there was no TV but that may have due to lack of reception in this remote area.

Just returned from a very relaxing 2 night stay with our dog. The cottage is very cosy and clean and has a lovely rustic charm about it. It is great if you want to get away from it all and is perfect for bird watching which can be enjoyed from the comfort of a dining room table. We saw up close blue tits, great tits, goldfinches, nuthatches, squirrels and a great spotted woodpecker feeding. The owners are really friendly and welcoming and have very thoughtfully made sure guests are at home providing towels, tea, coffee, milk, eggs, honey and bread. The location is peaceful with dog walks from the door and only a 20 minute drive from Lake Vyrnwy which is a must visit if you are in this area. Thanks Will and Bridget, we will be back!

Lovely secluded cottage in the countryside. Welcoming owners, perfect for a couple and pet friendly. Cottage is well equipped, honey, bread and milk was a lovely touch. Unfortunately there was a unusual amount of flies on our day of arrival which was slightly disappointing.

A little gem of a cottage in a lovely secluded spot. A home away from home with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. Will and Bridget were welcoming and friendly and although we knew they were only next door and available if needed they were never intrusive. Highly recommended.

The owners have done a lovely job in providing a little nook away from the world with a clear emphasis on ecologically sensitive living, which is very welcome. The owners are also very friendly and are doing a sterling job in developing their immediate surrounding which is already pleasing to engage with. A woodpecker was one of the many birds that we saw on our one day get away which was an added bonus. Excellent honey from the owner's colonies and an interesting collection of fossils and geological rocks so bring a magnifying glass for budding geologists. Seven for local amenities' as they are a few minutes drive away, but that was actually a positive for us, and I would always like anywhere I stay to be cheaper just so I could spend longer/visit more often :)

A great welcome from the host with a lovely supply of 'welcome' provisions. An interesting place to stay, especially if the weather is good. A very comfy bed and sofa and a well equipped kitchen. A good place from which to explore the nearby Lake Vyrnwy and mid-Wales.

A fantastic hidden little gem. If you need to recharge your batteries, the peace and quiet, with all the country surroundings are fab. Owner Will is brilliant, really helpful, always there if needed. We missed meeting his wife Bridget who was away at the time. That means we are defo going back to Wils lovely pink gin, their fresh honey (straight from his bees) handpicked veg, good apple cider, need i say more...you will find it hard to galavant to the other surrounding places. The cottage captures you, a must for a visit to the meadow too, above all it's a very special place and we have had a momentous holiday. Dawn, John & the woofs X Manchester X
