The Old Dairy is in the glorious Yorkshire Dales. If you love peace and quiet, dark starry skies, walks in the fresh air and spectacular views all round, then this is the place for you. Cosy and relaxing, with great pubs, cafes and shops nearby.

It’s all yours, including the outdoor space of a lawned area with bench seating to soak in the far-reaching views. If you long to be away from it all, enjoy peaceful walks in the countryside, or perhaps even a hike up Howgill Fell, then you will find this property perfectly placed. Please note there are no streetlights, so it might be wise to take a torch for winter evening walks back from Sedbergh!

There are opportunities for outdoor activities including walking, swimming, canoeing and hiking, and plenty more to do for the outdoor enthusiast in the surrounding areas, which are rich with countryside and freshwater.

The attractive old market town of Sedbergh, with its old-world atmosphere, is a short distance away. Sedbergh is not only set in the magnificent western dales of the Yorkshire Dales National Park but is also close to the rugged eastern fells of the Lake District. Kendal is 11 miles away and Windermere 19 miles by car. Sedbergh is England’s official book town and a lovely spot to visit of you enjoy walking and cycling. In addition, Sedbergh is dotted with attractive restaurants and pubs. Beach 21 miles. Pub and restaurant 1 mile.
