A lovely place to stay. The only issue was that some of the windows didn't open and we had some of the hottest days of the summer. Trying to get a breeze through the house (and especially two of the bedrooms) was very difficult.

13-20th July. Hall farm is a beautiful house set in the perfect location, it has all the home comforts you’d need on your holiday stay and more. The location is ideal for travelling to all the various tourist spots. The local pub - The Ship Inn is a little gem friendly staff, with the best Sunday roast. We’d thoroughly recommend to anyone to book this lovely place, which is why we will be back next year.
A great house in a lovely village, 4 good sized bedrooms , pub just down the road.Good location for exploring Yorkshire. ?
Great cottage in a good location, 15 min walk to Boroughbridge and the local shops and restaurants. 5 minutes from A1. First time visitors and would return.
Beautiful cottage with everything we could want provided. Had a great time and are looking at booking next year. Could not fault it
Comfortable lounge furniture (a must after a hard days sightseeing) and beds. Easy to park. A fairly short level walk along a lane to Boroughbridge. Nice gardens, would benefit from a couple of stepping stones across the grass to the picnic bench. Lovely outlook on to the village green. Wifi okay, TVs easy to use. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits were a nice welcome.
In the kitchen, was a little lacking on equipment front for cooking dishes sizes suitable for one or two people. Cooker was a bit greasy on top and on the control buttons - no cleaning fluids provided, washed it with washing up liquid which we bought ourselves. As only 2 of us we didn't use the dishwasher which had the tablets there for that. Overall a very nice stay, would use again.
Had a really great week- super property with everything we needed. Hope to go back.
We found this to be a great house with lots of space and a brilliant location. Walking distance to Boroughbridge which has all the shops you could wish for and all independent!
The house was warm and cosy and had everything we needed. While we were there we were even supplied with a pumpkin!
Many thanks again.
Love hall farm and it's placed just right for tourist jaunts and lovely dog walks. The peace and quiet is wonderful and we love seeing all the rabbits in the field and listening to the birds in the hedges. The house is so well equipped and comfy we don't want to go home.
