    Situated less than 100 yards from the harbour of Amble; known locally as ‘the friendliest port’, this delightful stone-built terraced cottage provides deceptively spacious holiday accommodation of an excellent standard. The property is tastefully furnished throughout and oozes charm and character. There are lots of facilities for families with babies and toddlers including a travel cot, stair gate and bed rail. There’s also a nappy changing mat, potty, children’s cutlery and crockery, black out blinds in the bedrooms, plug protectors and door slamming protectors. Keep the children entertained with a selection of children’s books and games. The contemporary kitchen/dining area to the rear is particularly well appointed and additional leather corner seating offers a peaceful spot to relax; its bright and airy ambience is enhanced by the patio doors which lead to a lovely enclosed and private area – idyllic for alfresco dining where a small hill forms as a backdrop. The front of the cottage faces onto the pretty square and there are distant views toward the sea and harbour from some of the first floor rooms. There are many shops, pubs and tea rooms within walking distance of Harbour Holm or wander along the harbour and take a boat trip to Coquet Island to admire the puffins and grey seals close at hand. 
    Harbour Holm makes an excellent choice for those seeking a coastal retreat giving easy access to explore the 20 miles of magnificent stretch of Heritage coastline this region is proud to have designated as An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

    An excellent cottage, well thought out and very comfortable. The best cottage we have stayed in, in Amble. We would definitely recommend and would use again. Very well positioned. The welcome bottle of wine was much appreciated.

    Lovely house in a really good location. Lots of space inside and nice outside garden. The light pull in the bathroom might need some attention, a bit tricky to turn on and off sometimes.

    Well situated for a relaxing time in Amble, the cottage is very well equipped and felt spacious for 4 adults and a baby, although another bathroom would have made it perfect!

    This is a very spacious 5 bed property close to the harbour and central for restaurants. Pubs are quite "locals" however up the hill to high street has the Wellwood which is more generally holiday and serves decent food.

    A lovely cottage right in the centre of Amble and somewhat of a Tardis. Opening the door into the kitchen and we were presented with a stunning kitchen. It truly was a home from home. The children enjoyed the many games and toys. On Sunday we enjoyed the Amble, which is held on the quayside and only a few yards away.
