    Kitchen/dining room. With: Rangemaster, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine and Amtico flooring (in the kitchen).
    Utility room. With washing machine.

    With kingsize bed.
    Bedroom 2: With double bed.
    Bathroom 1: With bath, shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.

    First Floor:
    Bedroom 3: With super kingsize bed and step to en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.
    Bedroom 4: With double bed and single bed.
    Bedroom 5: With bunk bed.
    Bathroom 2: With bath, shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.

    Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial briquettes for wood burner included, remainder at £5 per basket. Two travel cots and highchair. Welcome pack. By prior arrangement with the owner groceries can be delivered, and a chef a can cook special meals or a selection of dishes.

    With lovely open views over the surrounding countryside this spacious detached farmhouse is the ideal location for friends and family to spend time together and explore the surrounding area. Hardilands Farmhouse is a spacious, light and well-presented holiday home with great facilities. On the ground floor there are two double bedrooms one with a kingsize bed a spacious family bathroom with a bath and separate shower cubicle with a variable jet shower. A well-equipped open plan kitchen and dining area contains quality appliances including a range master cooker. A large living room with a wood burner and patio doors with views over the garden and country side and a separate study can also be found on the ground floor. On the first floor is a fabulous master bedroom with a super kingsize bed, en-suite shower room and dressing room and, there is a further bedroom with a double bed and a single bed and also a bedroom with a bunk bed. To the rear of the property there is pretty garden with a pond with a Japanese bridge over and plenty of places for everyone to sit and enjoy the view over the fields or rustle up a barbecue on a summer’s evening. By prior arrangement with the owners, your stay can be tailored to suit your needs. Pre-ordered groceries can be delivered, and if you want to leave the cooking to someone else, a chef can prepare a special meal or a selection of delicious, cooked meals can also be arranged, ensuring that your holiday is a relaxing break and exceeds expectations right from the start. Alternatively, if you would prefer to eat out, there is a local hotel serving food just ¼ mile away. A welcome pack is provided on arrival, and to make sure your stay is that bit more relaxing, robes and toiletries are also included. The owners also live on-site, so help is at hand should you need it.

    While the property is in a quiet rural setting, it is still located close to the motorway network. The area is rich in history and there are historic buildings, castles and gardens to visit, including Stirling Castle and Linlithgow Palace. Other tourist attractions include the Falkirk Wheel, The Kelpies, Blair Drummond Safari Park, museums, art galleries and RSPB reserve, 1 mile. For the great outdoors, there is an abundance of activities to suit all tastes, such as watersports, walking, cycling (Route 76 passes close by), and golf, with many local courses within a short drive and a championship course 31 miles away. The cultural, vibrant cities of Glasgow, 26 miles, and Edinburgh, 29 miles, make a great day out. If you prefer to leave the car behind, there is a park and ride 10 minutes’ away. The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park is 26 miles away, Stirling, 11 miles, and Falkirk, 6 miles. Whatever you choose to do on your holiday, you can rest assured that the comfort of Hardilands Farmhouse awaits you on your return. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

    Beautiful house - beautiful location - beautiful hosts We had an incredible 5 day stay entertained by Lockhart & Jan Bruce - great fun. YOU need to visit this place - couldn’t recommend it any more - EXCELLENT

    We booked the farm house to celebrate my dads birthday. A group of 10 stayed in the house but it is that big that i didnt feel there was 10 of us. The house is spotless inside and i can imagine that during the summer period ( as we went during March ) the large garden would be a haven to sit in and relax. The hosts Lockhart and Jan are the nicest couple that could not have been any kinder to us all. We will be back again for a short break. Thanks again Lockhart and Jan for a great weekend.

    Our group of 9 women spent 3 days at Hardilands Farm. The owners were most welcoming and the accommodation was great. Any request was dealt with promptly. A welcome pack of essential items was a nice touch. I would have no hesitation in recommending this holiday accommodation.

    Hardilands Farmhouse was a brilliant property and fulfilled all our requirements (and more) for our family get-together. The owners (Jan and Lockhart) were fantastic. They were friendly, informative and on hand to deal with any potential problems but they were not at all intrusive.

    We stayed here as a family of 11 (6 adults and 5 children aged 9 to 4). The house is ideally situated for access to all the popular tourist sites in Central Scotland and the Kelpies are just down the road. The owners offered us complimentary tickets for National Trust and Scottish Heritage sites. Jan and Lockhart are perfect hosts and made us very welcome and were nearby to offer advice and help if needed. A superb welcome package awaited our arrival. The house is well equipped with kitchen equipment and there is a large supply of glassware and crockery. There were indoor games and toys to keep the kids occupied and a huge selection of DVDs for both children and adults. We were particularly delighted with a lock on our bedroom door which avoided the 6 am visits from the grandchildren!
