Excellent break lovely cottage and facility

We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. Tremendous cottage and the owners went out of their way to help celebrate my wife's 60th bithday.

We absolutely loved staying in "The Chapel" It was so old and wonky and was what it was!! This which we absolutely loved and delighted in!! And so fully accepted the fact of drafts and creaks and cracks etc etc... The secluded back patio with its own little Hot tub was a delight and the place as a whole with its little swimming pool was wonderful. I wouldn't really say they had a spa area as all we could find was a tiny little sauna cupboard... We couldn't find the BBQ hut either but we did manage to find the games room which was an old fashioned delight and was really very stunning!! Everything we felt, was really well planned out by the owners and the welcome upon arrival, chocolates and bottle of prosecco were well and truly a nice touch and certainly well received!! So thank you!! However, here's the moan; Please, please, please sort your heating system out! Oh my gosh, the amount of air that there was trapped and banging around in the heating system was horrendous... "Tapp, tapping, tapping and really very loud banging and clunking" all night long, made for a very awful nights rest!! So with us having 5 children, we went there looking for a rest and a good old fashioned lie-in along with a well earned peaceful nights sleep... Absolutely no way, we went home more tired than when we arrived, so as long as you're cool with that then you will love this place!! It has ample room space and the accommodation itself was so old we adored it!!

We had a very nice pre Christmas break and enjoyed ourselves very much in the lovely countryside. It was just perfect to unwind and relax in lovely surroundings and near to many of the beautiful villages and walks.

Had a lovely family birthday celebration at the chapel. Warm, clean and well equipped . Only downside is cannot walk to a local pub but taxi service available and worked fine. Highly recommend this accommodation, fabulous weekend.

We could not have asked for more. The Chapel definitely has the wow factor. We will be coming again soon
