A lovely spacious home with two cosy living rooms and a well-equipped kitchen (with Aga). Bedrooms were decent sizes, and 3 of them had four-poster beds that you had to really climb up to. Wonderful setting and views, and responsive helpful owners living nearby. However, not really suited to those with elderly or very young family, as the "character" granite spiral staircase and the downstairs toilet-cum-utility room - accessed over a granite boulder in the floor - were not suited to anyone with unsteady steps and caused even the most confident to take extreme care not to slip or fall.

Lovely location with beautiful views from the house and lovely property. We did find the spiral granite staircase a bit of a challenge for young children (just under 3 year old) and the older client. Very well equipped kitchen. Minor issue resolved very promptly by contact with the owner, thank you. Very pet friendly as well.
