No smoking.\n\n This ground floor apartment is set in a convenient location in the town centre in a quiet lane with the Elizabethan ramparts at one end which adjoin the quay walls where there are views over the harbour and the River Tweed. The apartment has a very comfortable bright and contemporary interior. Circumnavigate the town along the walls taking in the Barracks and remains of Berwick Castle. There is a variety of local shops pubs and restaurants under a 2-minute walk and very easy access to the villages up and down the coast.\n\nEnjoy boat trips from the harbour on the river or from Seahouses to the Farne Islands to see puffins and seals. Dolphins can very often be spotted from sandy Spittal Beach and bird watchers will love a visit to St Abbs’ Head Nature Reserve especially in the spring where the dramatic cliffs are home to nesting seabird colonies. Edinburgh and Newcastle are under an hour by train. Beach ½ mile.     Fabulous holiday home, everything you need. Great location for sight seeing in Northumberland and Scotland. Very close to supermarkets, restaurants, takeaways, bars and public transport. The owners Steph & John were very welcoming and showed us around the apartment. Lovely gesture of a welcome pack was provided supplying us with essentials such as milk, tea & coffee (much needed after a long journey) plus a few treats. Loved our stay at Haters Lane would definitely return and recommend to our network.

    We had a lovely spring break in Berwick upon Tweed and would definitely recommend staying at this property. The location is very convenient for all the towns amenities with plenty of parking nearby. There are a good range of Pubs, Restaurants and Shops within easy walking distance, and so many other things to do in the surrounding area. The property has been refurbished and equipped to a high standard and was very comfortable. We especially appreciated the welcome pack that the owners had provided for our enjoyment.

    Hatter's Lane is a good sized, newly refurbished, well equipped and extremely comfortable ground floor apartment. The immediate location lacks some appeal but it is next to the town walls and is in walking distance of Berwick's amenities. The town is well served with places to eat and all main supermarkets so there is plenty of choices whether you want to stay in or go out. We enjoyed several bracing walks along the river and coastline. Further afield there is Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle and St Abb's Head plus Ford & Etal all of which offer some beautiful scenery and further opportunities for interesting walks. All in all would recommend a stay in this apartment.

    Great location in the middle of Berwick. We arrived by train and were able to get supplies locally. We didn't need much due to the very generous welcome pack the owners left us. Very comfortable apartment. Lots of pubs and eating places within walking distance.
