Driving in towards this property, as you turn the corner and see the Sea - it’s one of those "Wow" moments. We really liked the larger living space which can give guests space as well as all be together.

A delightful "home away from home" here in Berwick upon Tweed. This 2 bedroom house provides the perfect space for a small family, 2 couples or group of friends to base yourselves and take advantage of this beautiful part of Northumberland. Berwick has loads to offer in the town and the surrounding National Area of Outstanding Beauty is a must to explore.
The property provides surprisingly generous living space, on the lower floor the larger living room is excellent for catching up or simply just "chilling out". Another nice feature is the dining/sun room at the back of the property and off the kitchen, whether it’s chatting over a coffee or reading a book with the sun beaming in. The kitchen is well equipped with worksurfaces and all the appliances you’d expect to be able to prepare and create some of those "on holiday great idea" recipes we like to aspire to. If cooking isn’t your thing then open your laptop at the workstation and check online for somewhere local which suits the taste buds.
Upstairs the bedrooms are both of a double size. One has a double size bed and the other can either be a Super King-size or set as 2 single beds. The luxury standard bathroom is a fabulous feature with separate shower and whirlpool jacuzzi style bath.
Outside the gardens are also well presented and the rear garden has outdoor furniture and an ideal position to enjoy the sunshine in what will likely surprise you as to how quiet it is. There is also a shed that provides secure storage for bikes.
During your trip you must explore some of the beaches to the south near Goswick, the nearest beach to the property is just a 15-minute stroll over Jingling Bridge. The Holy Island of Lindesfarne and Bamburgh Castle are easily accessible as are Cities like Edinburgh and Newcastle which can be accessed within an hour by car or less by train. Beach 1 mile.
