This property is immaculate by far the most well kept I have stayed in. It is obviously well loved and the gardens are beautiful. Although may not be appreciated so much by young families they hold much interest for gardeners and nature lovers. I enjoyed the excellent choice of multiple seating areas to observe the planting schemes at different times of the day. As a walker I enjoyed a couple of unchallenging local walks. Although used car for getting further afield transport links from Hexham eg HW bus good. All in all a very relaxing break.

Hazelbank is a light, bright and spacious bungalow in a quiet residential area. It is one of the best places we have rented: spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped. No hesitation in recommending it and we hope that we will be able to stay here again.

An excellent modern, well-equipped, furnished and decorated bungalow, situated on a small development of similar on the southern edge of Hexham, with parking to the front drive. The walk down into Hexham town centre is around 15 minutes, on footpaths at the side of reasonably quiet roads. The walk back from the town centre is uphill, but this should be manageable by most reasonably active people. Hexham is an historic, attractive market town, pleasantly situated in the Tyne valley. There are good transport links, by car and train, to the surrounding area, for example to Hadrian's Wall, to the Pennine Hills for walking, and to the nearest city Newcastle Upon Tyne.

We thought this bungalow was excellent in every way. The attention to detail was lovely. I especially thought how clean the furniture, the kitchen well everything. It would be hard to find fault with this bungalow. I would recommend anyone to stay at Hazelbank.
