Set in 4 acres of terraced landscaped gardens and natural woodland this impressive conservation area located late Victorian country house has been thoughtfully converted into a number of light spacious and carefully maintained apartments at ground first and second floor levels of which five are available for holiday occupation. Enhanced by their high corniced ceilings and large windows all of the apartment living rooms and most bedrooms enjoy stunning unspoilt views over Morecambe Bay to the distant Pennine Hills beyond. The apartments have been sympathetically decorated and furnished to retain their period charm whilst still offering all the comforts and facilities that are normally expected in a holiday home.\nThe owners who live on site are normally available to personally welcome their guests and to show them into their apartments and also to provide any assistance required throughout the holiday. A comprehensive collection of visitor attraction information is available in the main entrance foyer as well as a library of games jigsaws and books for indoor entertainment. Wi-Fi internet access is available in all the apartments. There is plenty of free level off-road parking close to the building and cars can be driven up to the main entrance doors to assist those with mobility difficulties for whom the ground floor apartments may be suitable. Since the mid Victorian period when the arrival of the railway changed this once sleepy fishing village into a genteel holiday resort the town has managed to retain its tasteful low-key character. Not renowned for its nightlife and amusement arcades Grange-over-Sands is still appreciated by those looking for a more laid back experience.     We loved the flat, location, big spacious rooms, gorgeous views and would recommend it to others however it would benefit from a deep clean. There were cobwebs and spiders in the corners of most rooms but especially bedrooms and bathrooms. The views are amazing over the sands but the windows were dirty and could do with a clean. The bathroon and bedrooms especially smelt damp and musty. It was well equipped providing everything we needed but just looked a bit neglected.
