Hazely Cottage is a spacious, detached, modern country cottage situated in the pretty Highland village of Edderton. It is set in its own large, enclosed garden which surrounds the cottage, with lovely views across to the sea.
The main living room is bright and airy with a warm and welcoming wood burner. It is superbly presented with good quality furniture and furnishings. There is a large kitchen/dining room with French doors leading out to the patio and the lawned grounds that surround the property. It is exceptionally well-equipped, with built-in units and integral appliances. There is a second living room with a sofa bed making this property ideal for larger families and groups. A solid wood staircase leads up to the first floor where you will find three spacious double bedrooms, all attractively presented. One of the bedrooms benefits from an en-suite shower room and there is also a family bathroom, as well as a shower room on the ground floor.
The cottage is located in a peaceful village yet has easy access to all amenities. The attractive seaside town of Tain, Scotland’s oldest Royal Burgh, is just 5 miles away. Here there are a number of supermarkets as well as a good selection of pubs, restaurants, cafés and shops. You will find some lovely shoreline and forest walks in the area. Golfers are spoilt for choice, with Tain, Brora and Golspie courses within close proximity, and the renowned Dornoch golf club just 15 minutes’ drive. Wildlife is abundant in the area with deer, otters, seals, dolphins and a wide variety of interesting and unusual birds all seen in the locality. The region is justly famed for its wild beauty and there is plenty to explore in every direction. The cottage is also close to the renowned North Coast 500 route and the area is an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise, with cycling, hill walking, fishing, horse riding, sailing, canoeing and surfing all enjoyed locally.
