Great cottage in a nice setting, made very welcome by owners Handy location for the attractions of Derbyshire.

The Old Parlour was lovely, spotlessly clean, very well presented & with all the equipment you could wish. Our hosts were welcoming but not intrusive & the presents of cake, wine & milk were most welcome. Matlock was only a couple of minutes away & a petrol station similarly so. I would definitely go back.

A stunning cottage in the heart of the Peak District. We could recommend this cottage to anyone looking for either a relaxing week to unwind or a fun packed adventure week for walkers.

We had a wonderful time staying at The Old Parlour last week. The place is bright airy and comfortable. Also very welcoming with a bottle of wine, fresh flowers and a delicious lemon drizzle cake! The owners are very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of problems with a burned out bulb and the internet, both which were solved within 10 minutes. Owners couldn't have been more attentive to our needs. Thank you all very much. Hope to see you again sometime in the future.

We arrived at the old parlour & were welcomed by Joyce. We were provided with a bottle of wine, tea, coffee, milk and an amazing homemade lemon drizzle cake. The old parlour is just gorgeous, furnished beautifully & very comfortable. Lovely hand soap, lotion, shampoo provided. Beautiful views from the garden (sadly not the accommodation due to velux windows). Would absolutely recommend the old parlour.

Fabulous accommodation and a lovely host. The cottage is superbly equipped, the beds are comfy, bathrooms gorgeous and the whole cottage feels like a home from home. Highly recommend this place but it is a good walk down into Matlock and a steep route back, but there is ample parking in Matlock, so this was never an issue for us. Will definitely return again in the autumn

This was our second stay in the Old Parlour and was as special as the first . Love this place . Owners have worked hard to make a beautiful modern holiday home . They are lovely people and nothing is too much trouble and the ginger cake was excellent!!!

A pleasant stay with a very warm welcome from the owners, would definitely recommend.
