The property has its own indoor heated swimming pool which is located on the lower ground floor. The views across the water to the green hills of Crantock are stunning and the footpath that hugs the shoreline can be accessed from the main house door.\nAn old bridge crosses the tidal sands to the village of Crantock. Walks crabbing kayaking horse riding stand-up paddle boarding and windsurfing can all be enjoyed on the Gannel most of which are available to hire locally. A local tip is to stroll along the Gannel to one of Newquay’s oldest and original cafés to enjoy crab sandwich’s and a pot of tea overlooking the beach out to the sea. Newquay with its surf and beach culture is a short walk and has many restaurants shopping a zoo leisure centre swimming pools and a working harbour where you can take to the sea on one of the many fishing boats and hopefully catch the evening’s dinner\nThere are many tourist attractions in the surrounding area from man-made to natural such as Crealy Adventure Park Lappa Valley Railway Newquay SeaLife Centre plus several National Trust gardens such as Lanhydrock and Trerice Manor.     Absolutely wonderful 2 week holiday at Heybrook. We have just returned. The location is stunning, the pictures on the website of the river and the accommodation do not do it justice. The owners are delightful and clearly care that their clients have a wonderful time. The property is furbished to a very high standard. I cannot recommend highly enough. Our dog also had a great holiday!

    The house is situated right on the banks of the estuary down a no through road. Views from the balcony are amazing and a scene of peace and tranquility . The house was immaculately clean, and the pool/Jacuzzi lovely and warm. So why not 10/10 all round? We regularly stay at these premium cottages and perhaps have been spoilt elsewhere, but it is the extra touches that make a difference. A welcome pack of local produce after a long journey is usually the "norm" and little things such as not being provided with dishwasher tablets or spare toilet rolls seems somewhat out of sync when paying in excess of £400 per night. Setting these minor gripes aside however, the house is lovely and we would stay there again.

    3rd time here so that tells you something. Wonderful house so spacious and spotless. Improved with all bedrooms en suite. Very well equipped. Pool and jacuzzi was well used as was the games room. Brilliant view over the estuary and lovely walks. Nicola and Andy the owners are lovely. We love it here and hope to return again. Highly recommend this property.??

    We were very impressed with the accommodation and the views were superb! A little difficult to locate first drive past as signboard with name and number hidden by overgrowth.

    Lovely spacious well equipped house. Plenty of room for the 10 people in our party with the games room keeping the children happy while the adults could relax with a glass of wine after a busy day out and about. The children loved the swimming pool while the adults enjoyed the jacuzzi. A truly enjoyable holiday which we hope to repeat in the future.
