This is a Fabulous Place to stay with a group of friends, it has everything you need. The welcome hamper was a lovely idea and much appreciated. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at High Houses and couldn't believe how large the cottage is, plenty of room for all of us. The Aga Cooker was trial and error, think we eventually worked it out in the end.

Beautiful house and location, very comfy beds, lovely views. We didn't find the instructions for the Aga until second day - would be useful to have them photocopied and put in the information folder. Would definitely come back.

Cleaners still in the cottage when we arrived after 4pm and were clearly not expecting us. Thay finally changed all bed linen at 6.30. Drive was shared with neighboring house and accomodating 3 cars very difficult. Some minor things - no workable plug in kitchen sink so washing dishes a problem. Cupboard door in bedroom jams.

Would have given excellent ratings but for the following which could be easily sorted with better maintenance: Bedside lamps - 1 room with no working lamp; others with no replacement bulbs or unsuitable replacements. Dishwasher - bottom wheels missing. Downstairs shower - spray head incorrect for fitting and hangs off. Instructions to keep Turing taps for showers would be helpful, Clear parking instructions re neighbours would be helpful.

A lovely warm welcoming home from home. The only issue was the entrance to the drive.
