We stayed at high view as a group of friends. The house was excellently equipped and very comfortable, ideal for our needs. The location is a little distance (1 mile plus) from the nearest pub, the pityme inn at st minver( would recommend). Caretaker helpful. Lovely stay.

A lovely clean house with great proportions and amazing views of the countryside. located in a beautiful part of Cornwall but if you want to get anywhere you need transport, but the pay off is it is in a quiet location.

This was our second stay at High View - we were there 2 years ago. The house is beautifully appointed, apart from the poor WiFi, which kept dropping out. It is kept spotlessly clean and the kitchen is very well equipped for cooking for eight people. It is about 4 miles from Wadebridge where there is a good supermarket - we have twice now ordered an online shop to be delivered on our arrival date. There is no-where to walk to for a meal but there are a number of hostelries to visit within a short drive.

Overall the property was spacious and well equipped with delightful views and located in a peaceful position. I would not stay again as I always go somewhere different. It is an upside down cottage i.e. the living quarters are upstairs and as such the wooden floor could do with carpeting to reduce the considerable noise experienced in the bedrooms downstairs (not everyone goes to bed or gets up at the same time)

Lovely property. Everything we needed. Good size for the whole family and a nice set up with the open plan lounge area and kitchen which means we could all be together..
