Very comfortable well equipped property. Photograph in brochure looks like 2 semi-detached cottages with 2 front doors, but in fact they have been made into one. Would not be suitable for anyone with mobility problem as no wheelchair access and high steps. Secure enclosed garden would be good for dogs.

We had an very good week. The Peak District is a wonderful location for walking and local interest.Hathersage is an excellent centre with good amenities. I loved the view from the cottage window looking over the valley and across to the hills in mist and sunshine!

We had a great walking holiday, in this simple unmodernised cottage, everything worked and it provided us with all our needs. It was warm and cosy and very clean. We could take lovely walks right from the front door, and there was a great pub 2mins away
