A gorgeous cottage, comfortable, quiet, remote, but within easy distance of everything you need. Local pubs are spot on. The details of what to do in the area is the best I've seen. Everything right up our street! Lovely welcome, but we weren't disturbed at all. You wouldn't have known we had neighbours! Woods to walk in, rabbits hopping about. Idyllic!

Higher Clamland is an attractive barn conversion tucked away in the country lanes of Trebullett. You won’t find shops nearby but there is a decent local pub within walking distance, about a mile and a half away. Also a lovely church at Lezant if you want to go to the Sunday service. Very welcoming congregation! The cottage has a well equipped kitchen but no dishwasher so come prepared! There is an emphasis on green products and the owners generously provide everything that you will need to ‘do your bit’ whilst on holiday. There is a lovely woodland area, excellent for walking your four legged friend and a small courtyard garden for sitting outside which is fully enclosed.

Beautifully equipped, rural cottage with lovely sunny courtyard, private garden plus further 2.5 acres of woodland to explore

Great cottage, great hosts and well equipped for a weeks stay. The location is okay, but no pub in comfortable walking distance and the road is narrow. If you have a pet it's perfect as they have their own wood!

Idyllic cottage in country surroundings. Pleasant walk in the woodlands. Nice gardens and patio with table. The cottage was very comfortable and had all the items needed for a good holiday

We enjoyed out stay and overall the cottage was good , with plenty of equipment and information for things to do , it is dog friendly but if we had known we couldn't leave our dogs in the cottage whilst we went out of a meal we would of pick somewhere else , also , the bath although nice had nothing to hold on to to get in and out could be very dangerous , ,covers left to put on sofa in case the dogs got on there smelt horrible , and the taps black bits came out when you can them ,

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful and relaxing environment. The cottage had everything we could possibly need. Extremely comfortable bed. Lovely little touches such as the apple juice, biscuits, flowers and treats for our dogs.

This was a cosy cottage in a quiet setting. There is a lovely garden and walks from the property. We stayed in late October and enjoyed a very sunny week but the wood burner was great to add some extra warmth in the cooler evenings. There was a lot of information and helpful maps of places to visit in the cottage. The cottage is located in a rural setting making it perfect if you are looking for solitude. Launceston town centre is only a 10 minute drive away and both north & south cornwall coastlines can be reached within an hour. There is so much to do and suggested places to eat nearby that we would have loved to have visited but we just ran out of time! Strongly recommended.

A lovely peaceful location. High spec conversion with everything you could wish for and more. Welcoming hosts and lovely little touches. Highly recommended.

    out of 10

Lovely properly, well equipped and comfortable. Everything that you could need was provided and the goodies on our arrival were a really nice touch. Easy drive to both coasts but car parks are well away from some of the northern resorts and quite expensive. If you cannot cope with steep hills it may be difficult to walk down and back and there is no other way than Shanks Pony!

Cottage was great, every thing that you needed, nice quiet location, but within a few miles, pubs, resturants and Tesco superstore. Owners very helpful and friendly.
