These properties lie on the owners’ working mixed grassland farm, in a superb holiday location between Bodmin Moor and the north Cornwall coast. Rose Cottage (ref 28055) and Bluebell Cottage (ref 28056), have been converted from a traditional barn and are furnished and fitted to a very good standard. Both have a large kitchen/dining area, a wood burner in the living room, French doors and Juliet balcony in one double bedroom and a private, enclosed patio and garden area to the rear, ideal for morning coffee or an evening barbecue. Honeysuckle Cottage (ref 28054) adjoins the owners’ farmhouse; it has a private patio area to the side to enjoy alfresco dining with country views. Lavender Cottage (ref UK31265) offers a great base for families and friends with the living, kitchen and dining areas on the first floor and the bedrooms on ground floor.
Boscastle is a 5-minute drive, with walks, harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants. Down the coast is Port Isaac, of TV series Doc Martin fame, where The Fisherman’s Friends sing live on the Platt on Friday summer evenings. A little further is Padstow with shops, pubs and restaurants including Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant. From here you can take a ferry across to Rock to try the variety of water sports or walk or cycle along the Camel Trail, a haven for birdwatchers. The sandy beach at Trebarwith Strand is 4 miles. Within easy reach is horse riding, National Trust properties, the south west coastal path, golf courses at Bowood and Bude, surfing at Polzeath and Widemouth Bay. Shops, pubs and restaurants 3 miles.
