We had a wonderful time at Hilltop. Beautiful location and great accommodation. Immaculate throughout, spacious and comfortable. The owner left a welcome pack for us including lots of essentials like milk etc as well as a delicious cake and flowers!! Soft towels and everything we needed to make our stay perfect. We used it as a base from which to visit friends and family in the area and because we have a disabled child needed accommodation that was all on one floor. Our daughter was able to access the property in her wheelchair by coming in through the double doors. Thankyou so much for a fantastic stay.

Quiet location and great for walking. Lovely, modern, spacious adaptation of the interior of the old club house. Enjoyed the sunsets. Plenty of places of interest to visit nearby. Just a couple of slight niggles: It would have been appreciated to have had hooks on the back of the bathroom and bedroom doors to hang dressing gowns etc. and fresher/newer looking towels.

We had the cottage for 4 nights in September, covering our daughter's wedding weekend at Ashen Plains. It met our requirements perfectly. Improvements are possible with clearer instructions about how to maintain pressure in the HW/CH boilerplates, fixing the shower so the head doesn't slip and the door stays shut when inside (the angle is wrong slightly). Could do with a bread tin and chopping board. THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO THE GOLF CLUB MANAGER

We hired this property for an extended period, to support disabled adults with a learning disability who needed temporary accommodation while waiting for their new home to be ready. It was ideal. Don't be fooled by the exterior, the interior was superb!! The Staff at the Club House have been very helpful and supportive. The local area picturesque, good walks and lots of places to visit. We highly recommend this property.

Well situated for exploring. Cottage had basic requirements, one set of bedding had blood on it- took until late next night to get replacement sheet and 2 days for duvet cover replacement! Rest of cottage clean. Noisy in the morning due to club house use and deliveries. Spatious living area. All one floor so ideal for those less mobile. Dogs- walking straight outside your door, but no garden to let them out unattended. Don’t rely on eating at club house, often shut to public for private functions. Good basic base, beautiful views, near Dursley for amenities.

This is a cosy well laid out cottage. I loved the modern open plan living area and the beds were very comfortable. Peaceful setting and ample parking right outside the door.

The views were spectacular and the staff at the golf club and members were very helpful. Such a shame that the settee was uncomfortable. We checked that there was WiFi when we booked but it wasn't available for the whole week and I didn't have any phone signal, spoilt our evenings. Be careful if you open the French doors as dog walkers allowed their dogs to enter the property (I didn't like that) as they had free reign across the golf course - the course was quite flat so golfers would be happy here.
