We choose the cottage specifically because of its rural location and facilities. It lived up to our expectations.

Another relaxing short break at Holme Garth - our fourth stay in Kirby Hill. A real home from home in a location that really does allow you to get away from it all - yet Richmond is only 4 miles away. Highly recommended.

A beautiful cosy cottage for our party of six adults and two dogs. Surprisingly spacious, particularly the kitchen with room enough for a good family 'get together' around the kitchen table. Holme Garth had everything we needed with additional touches of a Christmas tree, bottles of Prosecco, fruit and fresh flowers. All beds had top quality linen and were so comfy; beautiful views from all bedrooms. Location quiet although within easy reach of Richmond for all amenities. A well stocked farm shop located a mile away also served food and drinks, very pleasant. A recommendation would be for additional seating in the lounge as it was a little 'cosy' for six adults. We loved our stay and hope to return.

It was all we could ask for and more. From the real Christmas tree twinkling with lights the wine and flowers and treats for the dogs right down to the pizza wheel and floor cloths. Nothing was missing and this made our Christmas a very special time , I had come to the cottage with friends and family wanting peace and tranquillity . In 2017 I lost my youngest son and each year is hard but being in the cottage it wrapped itself around you and was so homely . Thank you for a healing Christmas.

Had a lovely long weekend break at Holme Garth. A charming homely cottage full of character and with some original features. A lovely well equipped cottage in a quiet tranquil location. Comfy beds, nice large walk in shower and downstairs toilet. Breathtaking views at the rear. Local pub serving nice meals. A short drive into Richmond and just down the road to Mainsgill Farm Shop. We really enjoyed our stay and our little dog Pippa enjoyed the lovely walks and the treats left by the owner.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful place. the only downside was only have one bathroom for 6 adults although we did know that when we booked. Owner had left flowers fruit and a bottle of wine - a lovely welcoming touch.
