Being within the village means you can walk to the shops to pick up your daily essentials or take a break from the cooking and enjoy dinner in the village inn.\nThe wide golden sands of Sandymouth Bay are just 9½ miles Bude 11½ miles and Widemouth Bay 14½ miles which are excellent for surfing pretty coves and dramatic coastal walks. Bude’s vibrant town centre has a vast array of good restaurants and bars along with glorious sandy beaches and stunning coastal and canal walks. The two Tamar Lakes are 4½ miles away where you can enjoy coarse and trout fishing sailing wind surfing canoeing and lovely lakeside walks. Coastal and country walking golf surfing horse riding mountain boarding cycling and watersports are all on offer close by and for family fun The Ultimate Adventure Centre The Big Sheep amusement farm park and The Milky Way Adventure Park are not to be missed.     A lovely home from home, on arrival we were met by the owners, and were treated to a home baked cake as well as the means to make ourselves a tea or coffee to accompany it. The house was spotless and included everything needed to make our stay comfortable. The house is situated in a lovely village about 7,5 miles from Bude, and was a wonderful base to explore the area. We would highly recommend the dog friendly pub in the village, which offered a cosy family environment, and served fantastic meals. The locals were very friendly and went out of their way to chat to us.

    Helen and Chris gave us a very warm welcome and we immediately felt at home. The house is absolutely lovely along with the area and amenities. We highly recommend this home.
