Lovely relaxing property in a peaceful location. Stunning views across to the Malvern Hills & good walks straight from the front door.

Beautiful little cottage, a few things could have made it more comfortable like an ice tray, i know sounds silly but when you want to sit and enjoy the beautiful view in the lovely garden there is nothing better than a nice ice cold beverage. The has some fantastic places to visit, Ledbury, Ludlow, Malvern and Hereford. Walks locally are lovely. We had anissue with the drains but this was sorted on the day. We loved are time here and hopefully will return in the future. Ps purchased a Ice tray and left for future visitors.

If you want a peaceful break then this is the place for you. The view is amazing and the beds very comfortable. We would have appreciated a welcome pack (at least a pint of milk!) as we were travelling from the Glasgow area. The nearest shops are about 5 miles away.

Beautiful cottage in the beautiful countryside of Herefordshire. Spotlessly clean, and we'll equipped, a dishwasher would be nice though. Owner very friendly & helpful. Fantastic walks right from the cottage. Large enclosed garden, our 2 dogs loved it. Came back really refreshed. Highly recommended for people who like to take their dogs on holiday

Stunning views and very peaceful. Stairs not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, but the single bedroom, toilet and washbasin surviced.

A stunning cottage in an outstanding location away from passing traffic. Lovely scenic views from the windows. The cottage has a large enclosed garden ideal for dogs. Sheep graze on the field the other side of the garden hedge. Lovely walks from the garden gate - across fields and through woodland. The cottage is very comfortable and welcoming and on chilly days the log fire is a bonus.

We loved our stay at Homend. The cottage is brilliant and views are amazing, great location with loads to do. Driving though the orchard with sheep and lambs running about was an added bonus. Recommend to anyone. We have two children under five an they had a great time. Thanks

As a family holiday we enjoyed Homend Bank Cottage, but felt that there were one or two little touches that would have made the whole experience just that much better. What follows are NOT criticisms but 'observations' 1. When we arrived it was a cold day & the cottage felt cold & unwelcoming. If the central heating had been on from say lunchtime, and the house warm when we opened the door, then we would have felt more welcomed; 2. The fridge was not on, so we had to wait for it to cool before it did what it says on the tin - again turned on at lunchtime would have made it ready to use straight away; 3. There was no WELCOME pack from the owner, just a box of leaflets about local tourist venues. A Welcome pack/folder from the owner saying 'Hello' this is where you will find X & Y in the house etc. this is how the TV works (turning on the NETFLIX eventually proved useful!) etc. would have been good 4. We had to find towels in a wardrobe, when to have them already in each room would have seemed obvious. In some of the rooms with vanity sink, there was no soap dispenser - 50p from TESCO turns a 7 into an 8! 5. On the plus side, when we had a leaking cistern 48 hours before we left, the owner came straight away & armed with a length of fishing line! made a temporary repair & by the time we arrived back the following day, the plumber had been & all was well! 6. Overall, the cottage was good, but with a few little tweaks, it would become very good, and even head toward outstanding. I hope that these observations are taken in the spirit in which they have been written. Would we come back again? Most definitely YES, and would hope to see some of our observations in practice. Thank you.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely setting. Could be improved with a tumble dryer for getting washing dried. Also a little chilly in the sitting room this time of year due to wind coming in doors, but it is an old cottage so I guess you expect that. Overall great value for money and the owners have put a lot of thought into making it feel like home. Would be a fabulous setting for a summer break and the views are amazing, so peaceful. Would definitely recommend this cottage!
