Hoseasons " Nestling in the pretty village of Northwold this detached cottage built in the 1600s has been lovingly restored to maintain a host of its original features. Surrounded by pretty gardens and countryside views it is well placed to explore the many attractions in the area and is a good area for dog walking. Nearby Thetford Forest’s established trails are a haven for walkers and cyclists and the Go Ape adventure park will be loved by children and adults alike also the venue for many concerts. Oxburgh Hall is just 5 miles away Swaffham 10 miles and the lovely market towns of Downham Market Ely and Bury St Edmunds with its famous Abbey Gardens are a short drive. Family fun at the seaside resort of Hunstanton the Queens Estate at Sandringham and the picturesque fishing villages of the North Norfolk Coast are all within easy reach as are the cities of Cambridge and Norwich. Fantastic , beautiful cottage with a lovely greeting from owners and also a friendly neighbour who put up with a couple of wayward footballs! Shame no local shop for milk bread etc. (No fault of cottage though!) Quite a way to travel for things we wanted but perfect for walkers, cyclists etc.

This attractive and extremely well equipped and furnished cottage was very comfortable and ideally located to visit a range of locations in central and north Norfolk. The personal welcome from the friendly and helpful owners enhanced the experience and we would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to any visiting this area.

A very lovely cottage with three double bedrooms , two with double beds one with twin. A large living room cum dinning room with loads of space. We received a welcome pack of groceries from the owner which was a lovely surprise. There are no shops in the village and it is a ten mile drive to the nearest supermarket. My only criticism would be that it would be nice to have a sign pointing to the cottage on arrival so you don't drive down the right hand side track.
