Really enjoyed our weekend away. Perfect spot for exploring. We ate out in the two local pubs in the evening and had breakfast in the cafe. All on the door stop. Could not fault the cottage. Very dog friendly and had everything we needed. Would recommend to couples and families.

A very well appointed, cosy cottage in a quiet, 'olde worlde' location. Lots of goodies had been provided and a few Christmas decorations too. Parking was always available on the road, a stone's through away at the end of the lane. Longnor is a great centre for this part of the Peak District.

We stayed over the Xmas period with our 2 Greyhounds and had a very relaxing break. The cottage was clean and very welcoming and the extras left for us by the owners were most appreciated. Longnor village is very picturesque with some fantastic pubs and places to eat. Fantastic walks from the doorstep too. Will definitely be returning soon.

Really lovely cottage. Great location and plenty of eating options close by. Perfect for exploring Peak District. Loved all the important little touches - milk in fridge , coffee and tea and the goody hamper. After journey much appreciated 😀

Lovely place for walkers and ones with dogs. Great restaurant and bar and cafe which are dog friendly! Very close to the cottage. But no WiFi which is a little disappointing for us but if you like to be off the grid great place! It was lovely to have a welcome package that was lovely! The cottage was clean and tidy! The owners very friendly! I would recommend if you was to get away!

Loved Honey cottage, clean and well equipped. The village is lovely and peaceful and has two dog friendly pubs and a restaurant serving really good reasonably priced food. Nice walks locally, you can buy a local walking map in the local shop. We will return to this lovely cottage.

Honey Cottage is a hidden gem in the Staffordshire Moorlands. The village of Longnor is self contained and surrounded by fantastic walking. The village itself has a lovely local fish and chip shop (cash only), a fantastic cafe just two minutes walk and a local pub and restaurant which has amazing cakes. Every business owner we met were very friendly and accommodating. The cottage itself is newly decorated and furnished with a tv/dvd player (including some good dvds) The kitchen is fully functional, the bedrooms very comfortable and bathroom had shower gel ect included. We really appreciated the goodies and milk upon arrival and Shelia even put the kettle on for us!! We throughly enjoyed our weekend and will definitely be returning in the future.
