We were greeted and shown around the cottage we both found it was what we both found it very homely and was greeted with a lovely welcoming pack. We would recommend to to all are freinds

Honey Meadow Cottage provided us with a cosy, yet modern, relaxing holiday home. The Welcome Hamper was the largest and most varied we had ever experienced, and the personal welcome from hosts Richard and Francesca was warm and friendly. The location was perfect for walking (easy access to several footpath trails) and for exploring local National Trust properties and Gardens. Lovely views from the garden, with wildlife in abundance.

Excellent welcome pack. Friendly host and good centre for local stately homes and gardens.

Very well equipped cottage with the best welcome pack we have ever had. Owners were very friendly and welcoming.

The cottage is in a lovely spot, good views over a wild flower meadow to the rear with a lovely dog friendly garden. There was the best welcome hamper waiting for us. Richard and Francesca are great hosts friendly and very helpful, thank you for a lovely stay.

Richard and Francesca were exceptional hosts. Welcome pack was the very best we have received from any of our previous bookings. lots of walking and local places to visit very close by. Will certainly try to go again. Chris and Dave

We really enjoyed our short break in this cottage. The owners were very friendly and helpful, but not in an intrusive way. The cottage backs on to a large open field and the view was superb. The welcome pack was very generous. We would definitely stay here again

Very friendly and amenable hosts in a lovely part of the Country.

Lovely cottage. It was clean, warm and comfortable. There are splendid views of countryside all around. The owners live next door and gave us a great welcome, telling us we could use the huge meadow at the back to walk the dog. An excellent welcome pack was left, with bread, butter, milk, tea, bacon, cheese, eggs, etc., so that was breakfast sorted! Apparently, there is a local shop, but we failed to find it. On our second visit, we knew what we needed to bring to eat in the evening. It is very relaxing and peaceful - the only "downside" was that internet and mobile phone signals were a bit intermittent. On the other hand, it was rather nice to get away from all that... There are info leaflets in the property, so you can easily fill your time with walks or visits to attractions. Richard (our host) was really friendly and helpful. Both visits have been filled with appointments elsewhere, some time we will go just to relax!

Lovely cottage, warm and comfortable. Very friendly hosts. Best welcome basket I have ever seen ?

    out of 10

An absolute gem of a find, cottage was excellent and as described. Host was particularly good, attentive but not overly so. The welcome hamper was a generous eclectic mix of local and other products, we dipped into it throughout our 6 day stay. Only minor downside was the poor internet but this was being attended to and we are certain it will have been sorted by the time you read this. The benefit was that we had more time to enjoy the beautiful countryside with our active Cocker Spaniel puppy. For which this dog friendly cottage proved to be perfect for.

A place to chill out totally and relax with lovely view to watch the birds and deer if your lucky.! Plenty of things to do locally and good pubs for good food. Owners are so helpful and a really lovely couple. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this sweet little cottage.
