The cottage itself is located in a lovely part of the country, however we had several issues while staying which I think have been ongoing issues and therefore disappointing that now already been sorted. We chose this cottage for the reason it had a private hot-tub it was our honeymoon and we had hoped to spend the week chilling and relaxing. However the hot tub was only 25% working. Only one jet was working meaning that 3 out of the 4 sections didn't have any working jets. Maintenance in general on the hot tub didn't appear good. If booking remember is self catering, nothing is provided, so bring tea towel, soap, washing up liquid, toilet roll etc. Some of the equipment and furniture needed replacing, teapot without lid, and bar stools seen better day. Some changes would have made huge difference. No welcome pack provided, so if you lucky enough to see owner remember to ask any questioned about recycling, bin and how the sofa turns into a sofa bed as no info in property. We were greeting with full bin from previous visitors and no indication of how to solve that. Although we were aware that attached property had not realised that although pets allowed neither property had enclosed gardens, thankfully our neighbours super responsible with their dog and not let off lead. Walls between properties really thin so noise carried, not ideal. For the money paid we were disappointed definitely not 4 stars more like 3 and we wouldn't return as unlikely the hot tub is going to be fixed.

Lovely cottage in great location for sight seeing. Hot tub is a real bonus. Could do with some more mugs though, we were endlessly washing up to have cups of tea. Also, bring your own hand soap and dishwasher tablets, as very little is supplied. Apart from that it was very nice and we had a good stay.

The location was very good, lovely owners but we were not pleased with the cleanliness of the kitchen, the dishwasher was full of partially washed crockery on arrival. There was not any any tablets for dishwasher, or washing liquid, or tea towels or hand soap in bathroom. There was also a dirty oven glove in drawer and the actual oven was so dirty that we couldn’t use grill as it smoked out the entire downstairs. The hot tub was a let down as well because only half the jets worked. For the money we were disappointed. It should have been 5 star but was more like 3 star

I have stayed at both cottages, it’s a lovely quiet location but not far from amenities. I would stay again as it’s a lovely cottage and had everything you need. My only pointers obring your own washing up liquid or dishwasher tablets as it’s self catering and they don’t provide these! The hot tub chlorine level was unbearable, this was sorted out and we were able to enjoy the hot tub they just need to adjust this.

The cottage was generally lovely however the dishwasher didn't clean the dishes very well, the upstairs carpet was a bit dusty around the edges up the stairs. There was no brush or mop to enable us to brush or mop the downstairs floor it we needed to. The beds were comfortable and the cottage lovely and warm, particularly in the very cold weather that we experienced during our stay.
