Certainly the best provisioned rental property that we have stayed in - every possible 'need' had been catered for - including wine, milk and 'goodies' in the fridge. And ll in a beautiful, unspoiled corner of the UK.

The moment we walked into Honeysuckle Cottage, we were struck by how beautiful it was - from the furnishings to the equipment, everything was perfect. The beds were very comfortable and we had no trouble sleeping in the peaceful environment. The owners left us a welcome gift of flowers, wine, biscuits and coffee, which was such a lovely touch. Sadly, we didn't get to drink the wine or coffee but the thought was much appreciated. The cottage was just a short distance from the A1 but we never heard any road noise and it made getting around much easier being that close to the main road. We have already said that when we return to Northumberland, Honeysuckle Cottage will be our first choice accommodation.

Every care and attention given by the hosts to the needs and requirements of those staying in the cottage. Just like home from home. The atmosphere of the cottage, the views and facilities, and the variable wildlife was a pleasure. Good location for seeing the wonders of the Northumbrian Coast.

Having read the very positive reviews for Honeysuckle Cottage, we were looking forward to our stay there. We were not disappointed in any way .......... the praise and comments from previous guests say it all! If anyone wants to see how to run a holiday property and make their guests feel welcome, valued, comfortable, relaxed and want to return, we recommend they book to stay here. It's more than a home-from-home - it's this plus welcome treats and everything you need for either a holiday exploring the area or just relaxing and winding down. We had a lovely week there in one of the best self-catering places we've ever stayed in.

Beautiful spacious, extremely clean, well decorated and maintained property. Two bedrooms and most importantly, two bathrooms. A thoughtful and lovely welcome pack on arrival and good communication with owners.

This was the most comfortable and well equipped cottage that we have stayed in , with an exceptional welcome pack provided. The location was perfect for visiting the many attractions in this part of Northumberland. We were only sorry to leave and would certainly like to return at some point in the future. This is definitely one cottage that we would have no hesitation in recommending to family and friends.

We had a wonderful week in the cottage. We have stayed in many self-catering cottages and this was, without doubt, one of the best. It’s location close to the A1 made it ideal for accessing all parts of the coast and yet there was no traffic noise. We would certainly use it again

Honeysuckle Cottage is in a great location for exploring Northumberland and the Borders. Berwick is only 10 minutes up the road and has a large selection of shops. The accomodation was clean and comfortable with a good level of equipment throughout. There was a nice view from the garden across to Holy Island and surrounding coastline and an even better view from the end of the shared drive. We found plenty to do within an hours drive of the cottage. The beach between Bamburgh and Seahouses is well worth a visit and we had several walks between the two. Communication with the owners was excellent with them making contact a week before with all the details required for our arrival. We received a text on the day to let us know the house was available earlier than expected and on arrival there were flowers, biscuits, wine, milk and coffee waiting for us. We look forward to our next visit.

The cottage was very comfortable and clean. The garden was lovely, with great views of the countryside and the sea. The cottage was very well equipped and the owners were very helpful getting in touch prior to our holiday and making sure we arrived safely. Lots to keep us busy, some beautiful beaches and lots of castles.
