Sandymouth Bay Beach, managed by the National Trust, is just over 3 miles away and offers both breathtaking views from cliff top walks and a beach which stretches for 2 miles to Crooklets Beach at low tide. Just 6 miles away is the seaside town of Bude, with a variety of shops and venues to eat out, two beaches, 2-mile-long Bude Canal and the popular Bude Tunnel, which at 70 meters in length, offers protection from the elements whilst allowing spectacular sea views, whatever the weather! Stunning scenery from the Hartland Cornwall Heritage Coast is just to the west, whilst 20 miles to the south lies the mystical village of Tintagel, with its famous castle, linked to the legend of King Arthur and steeped in history.
