We've stayed at honeysuckle for the past 5years. Great value for money

I loved the quirky apartment . Being down a single track lane it was lovely and quiet. Slepped really well. Beds all very comfy. However as dogs are allowed this caused a problem. There was a strong smell of dog when you got in. The settee that also needed replacing smelled strongly of dogs. We used the vacuum to clean up and the vac smelt so strongly of dog we had to buy candles and freeze and open the windows all the time. I'm a dog lover but feel more care is needed on cleaning and PLEASE change the settee.

Rural location although amenities approx 3 miles. Lane narrow and winding therefore care required when walking. Accommodation spacious but requires some TLC damp spores in downstairs bedroom requires attention, broken kitchen window with hole in it , fabric sofa uncomfortable and requires update. Advert states washing machine but the washing machine was in a separate building and one machine catered for all apartments. Felt cleaning was a little haphazard the outside of the building requires attention and gives a poor first impression. Quirky and interesting building lovely grounds with great views although a complex of apartments there was no noise disturbance from adjoining apartments. Would return if price more competitive

It's interesting building. The large house has been separated off to make 4 self contained apartments. The inside and outside could do with a bit of tlc but it's comfortable and well equipped with a certain charm.

This is our 2nd visit and we love it here but you definitely need a car as theres no local shops to get basics.

The cottage very much suited our needs the shower room could have been cleaner and the outside furniture was very sad area all needed attention. We would though use the cottage again as part of our party have 2dogs and we did not want a show type property that we couldn't relaxe in

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in lovely surroundings. Steep walk to/from beach could be difficult for some, all other amenities needed to be accessed by car.

Had to pass through bedroom to upstairs toilet Not as big as expected for 8 people in lounge area Very nice location Bbq in car park not great also not much area for relaxing Overall good for money not much near by lots of walking and not much else

Had an amazing weekend at Honeysuckle with the family. The location was amazing with sea views from parts of the cottage and not too far, by car, from anywhere. It was only a ten minute walk to a lovely, quiet beach with stunning coastal paths. The cottage, although dated in areas, was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The kitchen area was lovely and new and all equipment, even dishwasher tablets and new sponges, was provided. The fridge was a little small for a cottage for 8 people, but we managed. Vincent, the caretaker, was really helpful and was there straightaway when we called him to switch the heating on. Everyone had an amazing time and I would definitely recommend Honeysuckle!

Lovely break away from it all really enjoyed some quality family time

This is the second time we have stayed at Honeysuckle and want to go again next year. The apartment itself is comfortable and warm and ideal with 3 dogs. The beaches in the area are fantastic and the weather was great for end March. The outside of the house has now been re-done and there was a new smart kitchen in Honeysuckle. It is an ideal base for touring Anglesey and would recommend to anyone with dogs.

we love this place, peace quiet fresh air. stayed in Ivy and Honeysuckle so far. Honeysuckle is very deceptive its bigger that we thought the double double is massive and has the big bathroom, kitchen is new but not very big the fridge is not big enough for 8 (only 4 of us) and there is no freezer but we only stayed for 2 nights and ate out or had takeaway, very warm as well once heating thermostat turned up on arrival . there are no shops or pubs within walking distance so take provisions. Spar is about 15 min drive away at Pentreath, great Chinese takeaway there and really friendly pub the Panton Arms (dog friendly) and decent food. Benllech also about 15/20 mins with good shops and great chippy - beaches close by LLandonna beach very quiet

Beautiful cottage with ample room, great for a rural getaway. 5 of us with 3 dogs had an excellent time and will definitely be booking again!

Our fifth time at Wern Y Wylan, first time in Honeysuckle. Love this place. Perfect location.

There are no local amenities. However this is not a problem as you an get everything you need from Beaumaris which isn't too far away. The location is so peaceful it just makes you so pleased that you have chosen this cottage for your few days in Anglesey. DJ
