The House on the Hill was an excellent base for our holiday in the Dales. It had modern amenities yet charm, everything you could need in a home for a week. It was extremely clean and comfortable. We all had a wonderful time in Hawes. I would book it again anytime.

An excellent stay. The cottage is lovely with superb decor. Parking is a slight issue but nothing major. We would definitely return to House on the Hill.

Loved this cottage, perfect location and no expense spared on the furnishings and decoration. Bed was so comfortable. Some of our friends visited us while we stayed and all said it was an amazing cottage and they would try and book it if they came back to Hawes!

We had a fantastic holiday in the cosy cottage ‘ house on hill’. Local shops and pubs were within walking distance. We would certainly recommend it. However, if there was parking available just outside the house it would have been awesome.
